How We Got Here
Our business was borne out of my love of pyrography and my son's love of running.
He loves competing for medals and wanted a medal hanger with his name on. He salvaged some wood, sanded it down and asked me to create him a medal hanger for his bedroom. Which I did. A few more were made as gifts for runner friends before I took the plunge and decided to turn my craft into a business.

Here at Fire and Fairylights we want you to have the perfect medal hanger for all your well earned medals.
If you can't find your perfect phrase or font amongst our previously made hangers then please contact us with the details of what you would like your hanger to say and we will design something especially for you.
Delivery
Most of our medal hangers are sent out via Royal Mail post. However, for multiple orders and heavier packages we will use a courier.
The medal hangers are made to order and take approximately 7 days to complete.
Our promise to you
We are a small handmade business who cherish each and every order. We are committed to our customers and our community.
We are always trying to find a more ethical way to work. Our wood is salvaged and recycled, and we try to source second hand or discarded handles for our medal hangers where we can.
Unfortunately, we do use bubble wrap in our packaging - we have not yet found anything that protects the wood in the same way, but we are trialing other options.
Options
We offer a variety of sizes of medal hangers, ensuring there is something for everyone's budget.
We offer a hanger, or hooks on your final item.
We can finish your medal hanger with beeswax or varnish. Beeswax is a smoother feel on the finished product whereas varnish is more hard wearing.
Each medal hanger is unique. The one you order is YOURS and so it should be the way you want it to be.
